Well it might sound creepy and horrifying because of the name dead sea but it is nothing to afraid about. It is somehow a belief from local people to be a healing place. The Dead Sea has become a major attraction for health research and treatment for numerous reasons. It is as well as a recreational place in fact drawing visitors to visit this unique beautiful landscape.

 The surface of the Dead Sea is 423 meters (1,388 feet) below sea level. It is claimed as the lowest point of earth. The Dead Sea is the saltiest bodies of water as well as known as salt lake which is the most saline water on earth; as much as 35% of the water is dissolved salts. Which make that is almost six times as salty as ocean.

For your knowledge, it is called Dead Sea due to its salinity prevents the existence of any forms in the lake. To its benefit of other side of health matter, it provides ailing visitors who come here to heal. It might bad for the life and microorganisms that live under the sea because of the highest concentration of salt yet somehow it brings good thing for human being.

The Dead Sea’s incredibly high salt concentration means that people can easily float in the Dead Sea due to natural buoyancy. Usually high salt content enables you to float effortlessly! You can see from the picture below that a person can float on it. Well it is the place that you would not be drowned!
