Karachay Lake

There are lakes that are very pleasant to the eyes and good in taking photograph. There are lakes that happen to be the healing spot for several ailing visitors. Most of you might assume all lakes are beautiful and breathtaking right? Have you ever heard about most polluted and dangerous lake that can cause fatal to human lives?

 Well there is a lake name Karachay Lake located in Russia. Close to the modern boarder with Kazakhstan. It is claimed to be the most polluted lake on earth as it was once a storage dump for Russian nuclear weapons and still it is.  

The nuclear engineers at Mayak spent their time mainly having nuclear meltdowns and dumping the radioactive waste into the river. They don’t even care or worry about the safety of the environment. The watered down waste was radioactive elements including long lived fission products like Strontium-90 and Cesium-137

After approximately thirty years of dumping the radioactive, one of the region in Russia, Chelyabinsk has experienced worst disease ever such as cancer, birth defects and leukaemia. Now you know the dangerous of throwing and dumping the hazard waste without caution. It can bring you death!
